Planning | Digipak Draft Two

With the practice digipak, I previously done them with images from Google and really liked the concept of each design of the previous album cover and magazine poster therefore produced the same work but with a picture of our actual artist, Kayla'O for a better visual understanding.

Album front cover:

As the make up is our  prop we took a close up of the artist with all attention on the eye makeup and bold lip. Our colour palette was the union jack colours with black, each colour is shown through different aspects for example black is shown through the black shadows around the edges and eyeliner. Red is seen by the lip and title of the track matched same to the colour of the lips, the artists name in white and a blue spotlight reflecting from the top left hand corner onto the forehead and left eye.

Magazine Poster:

For the magazine poster we took a mid-shot of the artist to showcase a clear image of the artist, but with focus still on the makeup. A side profile of the artist showcases the bold lip, once again the title of the song and lips is matching. I included the artist's website in red as well to indicate the track be downloaded from the website for the core audience. The bottom left hand corner has the album cover so the viewers are aware how single cover looks like. The title of the artist is the same as the album cover to link the synergies together similarly with the colour palette of black, white and red in this advertisement.
